Cudo Miner brings easy Grin crypto mining to the masses with its latest GUI miner - Coin Rivet

London, 28th February 2019 – Cudo Miner, the crypto mining software application, today released the latest version of its graphical user interface (GUI) miner with added support for Grin, the private and lightweight implementation of the Mimblewimble blockchain. Users will be able to mine Grin through Cudo’s powerful and simple to use Cudo Miner software.

Grin’s dual PoW (Proof of Work) system presents miners with a choice to mine the GPU-oriented Cuckaroo29, or the ASIC-oriented Cuckatoo31, which can also be mined with high-end GPUs. From today, anyone with a suitable NVIDIA GPU can download Cudo Miner and start mining Grin on Windows or Linux immediately, with no manual configuration. Furthermore, Cudo Miner is the first software of its kind to mine the Cuckatoo31 algorithm, which is typically more profitable in the current market if you have enough memory.

Matt Hawkins, CEO, Cudo Miner, says: “Mimblewimble is an exciting new development in cryptography, and there is understandably great interest in contributing to and profiting from Grin, as its popularity grows. Our goal is to make it as simple and reliable as possible to mine Mimblewimble crypto currencies, so GPU miners can run their rigs and farms without sleepless nights, worrying about lost revenue and configuration.”

Cudo Miner intelligently automates the CPU and GPU mining of crypto currencies using multiple algorithms to make the best possible utilisation of the user’s hardware and, by default, mines the most profitable coin. Its GUI and automation simplify mining for casual users and provide a rich feature set for professional miners to manage their operations. Cudo Miner is also the first software of its type to automatically switch overclocking between algorithms, choosing the most profitable coin to mine based on the current market and the performance of the user’s hardware.

Having rapidly developed its product features based on community feedback, Cudo Miner has incorporated features such as overclocking, memory optimisation and the aggregation of open source and third-party miners to provide a new class of ‘all-in-one miner.’

The latest version of Cudo Miner now supports nine coins, with the addition of Grin. Miners can earn funds in five currencies: Bitcoin, Ether, Monero, Ravencoin and now Grin. Based on current algorithms, users require an NVIDIA GPU with 5.6GB or more VRAM to mine Cuckaroo29. Users that wish to mine Cuckatoo31 require an NVIDIA GPU with 11GB of VRAM to mine on Windows, or 8GB VRAM on Linux.
