Mine electrician electrocuted in West Virginia - Aggregates Manager

The West Virginia Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training reported that a 40-year-old certified mine electrician, Steven Vernon Keeney, suffered fatal injuries from an electrical shock, according to KDKA TV News. The accident occurred at the Panther Creek Mining American Eagle Mine in Kanawha County at approximately 12:18 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2017.

The accident is under investigation.
